Anat Weisenfreund, MS, IMH-E, serves as President of the Massachusetts Association for Infant Mental Health since January 2022, and works as a National Touchpoints Facilitator at the Brazelton Touchpoints Center. As the Director of Head Start & Early Learning Programs at Community Action Pioneer Valley since June 2009, Anat oversees a budget exceeding $10 million and leads 160 staff to serve over 600 children and families. Previous experience includes roles as Assistant Commissioner for Child Care Contracted Programs at the City of New York's Administration for Children's Services, Director of Child Find at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and Director of the PANDA Program at Beth Israel Medical Center. Anat has also contributed to education as an adjunct professor at Bank Street College and adjunct lecturer at Hunter College. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Education/Infant Parent Development from Bank Street College and a Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College.
