Emmalie Dropkin is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in education, policy, and data management. Currently serving as the Director of Data, Planning, and Evaluation at Community Action Pioneer Valley since December 2020, Emmalie has also held roles as the VIDA Count Coordinator and Volunteer for VIDA: Women in Literary Arts since August 2017. Emmalie's teaching experience includes positions as a Lecturer and Graduate Teaching Associate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with instructional roles at the Juniper Institute for Young Writers. Prior experience includes key positions at the National Head Start Association, where Emmalie was the Director of Policy, Data, and Research, and special education roles at various schools. Emmalie's academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Certificate in Mind, Brain and Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Arts in Special Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Amherst College.
