Amber Livengood, MSW, LCSW, currently serves as the Domestic Violence Services Counseling Coordinator at Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County since June 2022, having previously worked in various roles including Outpatient Psychotherapist at Everlasting Wellness LLC and Admissions Counselor at Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital. Amber's experience in domestic violence support began with a prior position as a Domestic Violence Counselor at Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County, and includes time as a Permanency Specialist at Families United Network, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work in Clinical Social Work and another Master of Social Work in Social Work from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, respectively. Additionally, Amber holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.

The Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County champions the achievement of long-term self-sufficiency for individuals and families through services and advocacy targeting the elimination of poverty. Each year CAP reaches nearly 30,000 low-income families through services that support child development & education, health & nutrition, household stability, and public safety & violence prevention to help them not only meet their essential daily needs but to work toward long-term financial self-sufficiency.
