Diara Rosario

Diara Rosario has a diverse range of work experience. Diara started their career in 2005 as an Administrative Assistant at Neighborhood Self Help by Older Persons Project, Inc. where they handled office needs, managed staff scheduling, and updated client lists. Diara then worked at The Bowery Mission from 2006 to 2009 in various positions such as Camp Counselor, Life Guard, and Food Specialist, ensuring the safety and well-being of campers, teaching swimming lessons, and supervising recreational activities.

From 2007 to 2012, Diara worked at Eastern Nazarene College as an Administrative Assistant, responsible for office tasks, and later as a Facilities Administrator, managing wait staff, inventory, and reconciling sales. Diara also served as a Yearbook Photographer, capturing campus-wide events and transferring and archiving images.

In 2012, Diara joined Mosholu Montefiore Community Center, Inc. as an Administrative Assistant and later as a Receptionist for the Afterschool Program, performing general clerical duties and assisting with office needs. Diara also worked as a Program Assistant and Assistant Director at Fort Independence, where they hired and coordinated staff, supervised and trained employees, and created workshops.

In 2018, Diara became a Program Director at the Community Association of Progressive Dominicans, managing and maintaining programs, ensuring policy compliance, and certifying work environment adequacy and safety. Diara then transitioned to the NYC Department of Education in 2020 as a Day Shift Supervisor for the Regional Enrichment Center, overseeing the initiative for first responder's children, managing payroll and timesheets, and creating content for programs and conferences using various platforms like Zoom and Webex.

Throughout their work experience, Diara has demonstrated strong organizational and managerial skills, as well as proficiency in office tasks and event coordination.

Diara Rosario obtained a High School Regents Diploma from the High School For Contemporary Arts, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Diara then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts at Eastern Nazarene College from 2007 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Diara Rosario has obtained CPR training, although the institution and specific dates of obtaining the certification are not provided. Diara also completed the High Performing Managers Initiative (HPMI) in 2020, which was offered by BANSO.
