Kathleen Vanderkolk, M.A., NCC, LPC, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic roles. Currently serving as a Senior Care Manager at Community Care Behavioral Health Organization since June 2016, Kathleen previously worked as a Therapist/Social Service Coordinator at Southwood Psychiatric Hospital and held an executive position as Clinical Administrator at Blackbird Health, LLC. Kathleen has considerable experience in providing therapy to children and adolescents, particularly in diversion programs to prevent psychiatric hospitalizations, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community service providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Kathleen earned a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.

Incorporated in 1996, Community Care was created by a leadership team whose clinical experiences as behavioral health providers compelled them to create a company whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of the community through the delivery of effective, cost-efficient, and accessible behavioral health services.
