Crystal K. Sanders, CPC has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Crystal K. currently serves as the Vice President of Health Plan Operations at Community Care Plan. Prior to this role, they were the Senior Director of Operations at the same company. Before their time at Community Care Plan, Crystal held the position of Claims Director for 18 years.
In addition to their work at Community Care Plan, Crystal has also worked at South Florida Community Care Network as the Director of Claims & Systems Operations and Claims Manager. Crystal K. joined this company in 2014.
Crystal's career in healthcare began at Memorial Healthcare System, where they worked as a Claims Manager for a period of over 13 years.
Crystal K. Sanders, CPC, obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Operations Management and Supervision from Broward College, where they studied from 2016 to 2021. In addition to their bachelor's degree, they have earned several certifications, including ICAgile Certified Professional from ICAgile in May 2020 and Lean Six Sigma White Belt and Microsoft Office Specialist in October 2017. Crystal is also a Certified Professional Coder accredited by the American Academy of Professional Coders and holds a certification in Project+ from CompTIA.

Community Care Plan (CCP), 'the health plan with a heart,' was introduced in 2000 as South Florida Community Care Network (SFCCN), the first safety-net hospital-owned Provider Service Network. CCP serves 100,000+ members enrolled in Medicaid, Florida Healthy Kids, sponsored programs, and self-insured employee health plans. CCP is owned by Memorial Healthcare System and Broward Health. Community Care Plan maintains accreditation and has earned Multicultural Health Care Distinction for its Medicaid Health Plan by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). CCP is also fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) as a Health Plan. MISSION To promote healthier communities.
