Gloria Carbonell

Gloria Carbonell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gloria began their career as an Independent Contractor and Medical Device Distributor at JACE Systems / Joint Active Systems, where they successfully built the South Florida territory by generating referrals for continuous passive motion devices. Gloria also developed a strategic marketing plan, provided excellent customer service, and ensured follow-up care for patients and referring accounts.

After their time at JACE Systems, Gloria worked as a Consultant at MDM Engineering Consultants for two years. Gloria then joined Health Choice Network, where they held various roles, including Account Representative, Business Development and PCMH & MU, and Population Health. At this company, they contributed to the growth and development of the organization in areas such as meaningful use training, business development, and population health management.

Currently, Gloria is employed at Community Care Plan as the Director of Business Analytics & Data Insights. Prior to their current role, they served as the Manager of Clinical Metrics and Analytics and the Clinical Performance Analyst at the same company. Overall, Gloria has demonstrated their expertise in data analysis, healthcare consulting, business development, and customer service throughout their career.

Gloria Carbonell obtained a Master's Degree in Health Informatics & Analytics from Florida International University - College of Business, which they completed from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Florida Atlantic University, studying from 2004 to 2006. Before their bachelor's degree, they completed another Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Florida Atlantic University from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, Gloria Carbonell holds several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt obtained in August 2016, Patient Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert (PCMH-CCE) obtained from the NCQA in September 2014, and Health Information Technology: Practice Workflow Information Management Redesign Specialist obtained from AHIMA in November 2012.
