Dr. Albert K. Yee is a Senior Project Advisor at Community Catalyst where he is part of the national lead team for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation supported Dental Therapist Project. Over the years, Dr. Yee has led and supported the planning and implementation of a number of national projects in specific program areas to improve the health of targeted populations. Previously, Dr. Yee was at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation where he managed a portfolio of active grants and designed and implemented national initiatives and multi-year health projects.
Some prior leadership roles include being the Chief Medical Officer of a state Medicaid Health Plan and the Regional Health Administrator for the US Department of Health and Human Services supporting six New England state health departments and other partnerships to improve public health. Earlier in his career, Dr. Yee held leadership positions at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, a regional payer and an integrated health care delivery system, and also at a federally qualified community health center. He has held faculty appointments at Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard Medical School, and Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Yee received a doctor of medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine, and a master of public health from Columbia University School of Public Health.
