Matthew Osborne-Smith

Matthew Osborne-Smith is an accomplished business development leader with extensive experience in healthcare and public health consulting. Currently serving as Director of Business Development at Community Catalyst since June 2023, Matthew focuses on health system innovation and change management. Previously, as Director of the JSI/WEI Center for Capacity Development at JSI from February 2017 to June 2023, Matthew enhanced internal collaboration and led strategic business development initiatives. Additional roles include establishing John Snow Health Zambia and contributing to significant funding achievements. Matthew's experience spans various leadership positions with a strong emphasis on strategic planning, capacity development, and new business initiatives across multiple organizations and countries. Matthew holds an MBA in Sustainable Development from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a BA in Sociology and Economics from UC San Diego.
