Associate Director Of Art + Culture At Community Coalition at Community Coalition

Ernesto Rocha has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ernesto started their career as a File Clerk at the Law Offices of Henry Friedman in 2005. In 2007, they had an internship at the UCLA Labor Center, where they worked on special projects. Ernesto then joined the UCLA Student Retention Center as a Calmecac Peer Counselor in 2008. In 2010, they became a Field Organizer at SEIU ULTCW, a position they held until 2013. From 2013 to 2017, Ernesto worked as a Community Organizer at the Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy. Currently, they are associated with Community Coalition, where they have held various roles, including Membership Coordinator, Membership Director, and currently, the Associate Director of Art + Culture.

Ernesto Rocha completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & Chicana/o Studies with an emphasis on Race, Politics, Labor and Policy Analysis from UCLA in 2016. In 2016, they also started pursuing a Certified Professional Coach degree from Coaching for Transformation. From 2017 onwards, Ernesto is currently enrolled in the Law Fellows Program at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, studying law.
