Community Collectives  is a year-long intensive support cum incubation program designed by Vardhishnu - Social Research & Development Society to structurize the programmatic & organizational aspects of early-stage initiatives, working with children from economically disadvantaged communities to create a sustainable movement through education. 

At Vardhishnu, we believe that every child deserves a safe, secure, and happy childhood irrespective of the socio-economic condition in which s/he is born into. Having put 600+ children in the schools in the past 10 years; we know that we haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg. At the same time, we know that there are many passionate individuals out there who are trying to work towards a similar vision. But they are NOT on the radar of any incubation program, they do not have the same exposure as us, and hence struggle to take forward their work. Being part of the support programs by Wipro Foundation, UnLtd. India, TFIx; we know how important it is to have someone with you in the initial days of the work. 

The idea of Community Collectives was thus born out of a vision of reaching out to these passionate grassroots initiatives with limited or no exposure of changing developmental landscape to share our learning & resources with them. The idea is to create an eco-system of learning and support for children across the country by collaborating with individuals, institutions & initiatives.

In last 4 years we have successfully incubated 22 initiatives across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka & Uttar Pradesh who have created 45+ learning spaces reaching out to 4500+ children from vulnerable backgrounds.
