Chet Thompson

Chet Thompson currently serves as the Associate Dean for Business, Information Technology, and Professional Programs at the Community College of Allegheny County, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, Chet Thompson was self-employed as an author, public speaker, and community activist from April 2024 to July 2024, and served as the Dean of Students at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania from May 2023 to April 2024. In addition, Chet Thompson held the title of inaugural CEO at Midland Innovation + Technology Charter School from February 2022 to October 2022, where responsibilities included opening and establishing a high-tech career tech school for high school students in the Pittsburgh region. From August 2019 to February 2022, Chet Thompson was the Associate Dean at Community College of Beaver County, overseeing the School of Business, Arts, Sciences, and Technology. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Science in Information Systems and Communications from Robert Morris University and a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy and Management from the University of Pittsburgh.
