Shelley Candy

Shelley Candy currently serves as the Community Engagement Manager at Community Connections for Children, a role held since January 2023. Prior to this, Shelley Candy worked at Child Care Consultants from April 2011, also as Community Engagement Manager, overseeing the Designation process and staff. Additional experience includes the position of STARS Specialist, where Shelley Candy aided child care providers in Lancaster, Lebanon, and Chester Counties in enhancing quality levels and managing grant processes. Shelley Candy’s earlier roles include Center Director at Hildebrandt Learning Centers, LLC, and at The Goddard School/The Learning Ladder, where oversight was provided for child care programs with large numbers of children and staff. Between January 2005 and June 2007, Shelley Candy held the position of Children's Ministry Intern at Community Bible Church, overseeing a children's ministry with a team of over 200 volunteers. Educational qualifications include a Dual Bachelor of Science in Bible and Elementary Education from Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School, obtained between 1990 and 1995.
