Gerald Muñoz joined C4 in August of 2021 as the Manager of Institutional Giving and was promoted to Director of Development and Marketing in March 2022. Here, he challenges narratives surrounding Chicago’s Black and Brown communities to foster greater investment and a positive perception of the services that the underserved need to thrive. Born and raised in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood, Gerald studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning a degree in history and microeconomics before bringing his skills and passion to East Village Youth Program and Gads Hill Center.
