Hessa Essa Buhumaid

Hessa Essa Buhumaid currently serves as Director General at the Community Development Authority and as Minister of State for the UAE, roles held since March and February 2023, respectively. Prior experience includes serving as Minister in the Ministry of Community Development from October 2017 to February 2023 and as Executive Director of the Government Services Sector at the Prime Ministers Office from June 2006 to October 2017, among other leadership roles. Hessa Essa Buhumaid has a robust educational background, holding a PhD in Total Quality Management from Hamdan Bin Mohd Smart University, an Executive Diploma in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, an MBA from the American University of Sharjah, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Science from Zayed University.
