Roberta Duarte Miranda is a seasoned project administrator and entrepreneur leveraging a diverse background in community development and public health. Currently serving as a Project Administrator at the Community Development Venture Capital Alliance since December 2023, Roberta is also the Founder and Owner of Areko Consulting and a Co-Founder of Cultura Capital Partners and El Barrio Fest. Previously, Roberta held significant roles including Principal at JumpStart Inc. and Board Member at Canalway Partners and Greater Cleveland RTA. Roberta's educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Global and Public Health Sciences from Mount Holyoke College and a participation in the Center for Communicative Disease Dynamics Forum at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. The Community Development Venture Capital Alliance (CDVCA) is the network for community development venture capital (CDVC) investing. CDVC funds provide equity capital to businesses in underinvested markets, seeking market-rate financial returns, as well as the creation of good jobs, wealth, and entrepreneurial capacity. CDVCA promotes the field by combining advocacy, education, communications, and best-practice dissemination through conferences and workshops. CDVCA makes its expertise available to CDVC funds by providing consulting services and technical assistance.
