Ashleigh Hernandez-Renfro

Ashleigh Hernandez-Renfro is a dedicated clinical counseling intern at Prelude Behavioral Services since January 2022, responsible for maintaining accurate client records and developing treatment plans. Concurrently, Ashleigh has served as a clinical counselor intern at the Rape Victim Advocacy Program since February 2018, providing trauma-informed care and facilitating counseling sessions for survivors of sexual assault. In addition, Ashleigh has experience as an in-person advocate, offering support to survivors in crisis situations. Prior roles include outpatient counseling at Community and Family Resources, bar management and service at The Airliner Bar, and supervisory positions in the frozen yogurt industry. Ashleigh holds a Master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Iowa.
