Joy Ferrin has a diverse work experience background. In 2014, they worked as a Shadow for a Social Worker at Friendship Village. The following year, they interned as a Clinical Services Student Intern at the Alzheimer's Association. In 2015, Joy served as a Guest Services Assistant at Cedarville University Admissions and as a Social Services Student Intern at Livingston Care Center. In 2016, they briefly worked as an Office Support Specialist at Oxford HealthCare. From 2016 to 2019, Joy served as an Americorps Member at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Joy then took on roles such as Assistant Manager of Community Initiatives (2019-2021) and Agency Services Manager (2021-2022) before becoming the Director of Agency Services and Disaster Response at the same organization. Currently, Joy holds the position of VP of Community Engagement at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
Joy Ferrin has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Cedarville University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2016. Joy later pursued a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma from 2019 to 2021.
