Cynthia Garcia has extensive experience in the energy and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Energy Delivery and Safety at Tucson Electric Power since June 2000. Throughout a progressive career at TEP, positions held include Vice President of Energy Delivery, Senior Director of Transmission & Distribution Operations, and Director of Project Delivery, focusing on strategic planning, operations, and safety in electric utility services. In addition to TEP, Cynthia holds board positions at Tucson Medical Center and the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation, and chairs the LGBTQ+ Alliance Fund Governance at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. Cynthia's earlier experience includes roles such as Division Controller at Vertel and development leadership at Wingspan LGBT Community Center. Cynthia earned a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona.
