Nancy Thies has extensive experience in philanthropic services and fundraising, currently serving as the Vice President of Philanthropic Services at the Community Foundation of Broward since March 2016, where leadership has resulted in raising over $350 million in new charitable funds and planned gifts. Previous roles include Vice President of Development & Marketing at Holy Cross Hospital, Vice President of Major and Legacy Gifts at United Way of Broward County, and owner of Designed in a Day, LLC. Nancy's early career featured positions such as Vice President at Mason Strategic Communications and Press Box Manager at Don Shula's Hotel & Club, alongside various roles in marketing and account management at companies like Harland Check Printing and MillerCoors. Nancy holds a B.A. in Journalism, Women's Studies, and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
