Head Of England Engagement at The National Lottery Community Fund

Joanne McHugh worked at the Big Lottery Fund from 2010 to 2017, where they held the role of Head of Funding. In this position, they were responsible for managing and overseeing funding initiatives. Then, in 2017, they joined The National Lottery Community Fund as the Head of England Engagement. In this role, they served as a strategic advisor on employee engagement, culture, and talent development. Joanne was in charge of creating and implementing an employee engagement approach through a culture, engagement, and communication strategy. Joanne also oversaw the overhaul and introduction of new communication and engagement channels within the organization.

Joanne McHugh pursued higher education from 1998 to 2001 at the University of Birmingham, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology.
