Rachel Jelenic

Rachel Jelenic is a dedicated healthcare professional with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno. Presently serving as a Population Health Intern at Community Health Alliance Nevada since June 2023, Rachel focuses on improving patient care processes and addressing barriers to colorectal cancer screenings. Previously, Rachel held the position of Healthcare Initiative Program Manager at the Nevada Department of Veterans Services from August 2020 to May 2023, where efforts were directed towards veterans' health initiatives. Rachel also contributed as a Student Intern at NDVS, where a significant project involved enhancing the Suicide Prevention Tab on the organization’s website. Early career experience includes roles as a Crew Member and Trainer at Sauced BBQ & Spirits, as well as serving as a Peer Grading Facilitator during studies at the university. Rachel’s background reflects a commitment to improving population health and supporting vulnerable communities.
