Medical Assistant Apprentice at CHAS Health

Emily Catt has a diverse work experience in the education and healthcare fields. Emily started their career in 2015 as a 7th & 8th Grade Math Teacher at Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School, where they taught math classes for two years. In 2017, Emily joined Amana Academy Charter Schools as a 7th Grade Math Teacher & Middle School Crew Lead. In addition to teaching math, they planned crew lesson plans for grades 4-8 and provided support to teachers through professional development sessions. Emily continued in this role until May 2020.

From 2018 to 2020, Emily worked as a Second Step Middle School Curriculum Advisor at Committee for Children. During this time, they provided guidance and support for the implementation of the Second Step curriculum.

In 2020, Emily joined Summit View Learning as a Math Instructional Leader. Their responsibilities included developing and leading virtual math sessions for students in grades 4 - 10, as well as supporting and coaching instructors with curriculum implementation and modification.

Most recently, Emily began working at CHAS Health in 2023 as a Medical Assistant Apprentice, although specific details about their time in this role are not provided.

Emily Catt completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish from the University of Idaho in 2011. From 2007 to 2011, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Secondary Education with a focus on Mathematics and Spanish from the same university. In 2014, Emily Catt enrolled in Mount Holyoke College, where they obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) degree in Secondary Mathematics in 2015.
