Business Intelligence Analytics Manager at CHAS Health

Morgan Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. They began their professional career in 2011 as a Gatorade Team Leader at GMP Management INC. In 2012, they took on the role of Science Volunteer at Seattle Public Schools and later became the Administration and Programming Co-coordinator at Camp Kesem UW. Morgan also worked as a Sports Medicine Intern at the University of Washington Intercollegiate Athletics from 2010 to 2013. During this time, they also served as the Athletic Recruitment Co-chair for UW Relay for Life.

In 2013, Morgan joined Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center as a Data Coordinator I, where they were responsible for creating and maintaining databases for clinical research activities. They subsequently became an Undergraduate Research Assistant, focusing on research in the same field. In 2017, they transitioned to CHAS Health as a Quality Improvement Specialist, and then progressed to the role of Clinical Business Intelligence Analyst. Currently, Morgan is employed as the Business Intelligence Analytics Manager at CHAS Health, starting in February 2022.

Furthermore, Morgan gained experience as a Graduate Student Assistant at Eastern Washington University, where they served as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Manager. They supported advanced Anatomy and Physiology courses and managed the Neuroscience Laboratory for Dr. David Daberkow.

Morgan Thomas completed their education in a progressive manner. They started their academic journey at Shadle Park High School from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physiology at the University of Washington, which they successfully obtained and completed from 2009 to 2013. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Morgan then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biology, General at Eastern Washington University from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Morgan Thomas acquired a certification in Data Science in Healthcare from Emeritus in September 2021.
