Yvette Poindexter

Dr. Yvette M. Poindexter is a seasoned healthcare professional currently serving as the Chief of Clinical Research and Senior Investigator at Advances In Health Research since February 2009, where the focus is on conducting FDA-approved studies to enhance medication and device approval processes. Additionally, since April 2010, Dr. Poindexter has held the role of Chief Medical and Integration Operations Officer at MyCHN, leading the expansion of Whole Person Primary Care across multiple counties to address healthcare access for 140,000 patients. Dr. Poindexter also serves as Chief Medical Officer, supervising a multi-disciplinary health care network and ensuring the implementation of evidence-based medical care. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Health Care Administration from West Texas A&M University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch, complemented by extensive training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine.
