Katherine Therien is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in accounts payable and financial operations. Currently serving as an Accounts Payable Accountant at the Community Health Center of Central Missouri since May 2020, Katherine demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft GP, Business Central, and general ledger functions while supporting the accounting department's daily operations. Prior experience includes roles as an Accounts Payable Specialist and Staff Accountant at Foresight Energy LP from August 2011 to May 2020, where Katherine was responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with IRS documentation. Katherine also held a Corporate Accounts Payable position at Arch Coal, Inc. from July 2009 to August 2011, focusing on maintaining accurate accounts payable records. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business/Commerce from Northwest Missouri State University.
