Carlos Oviedo has extensive experience in health informatics and patient access, currently serving in multi-faceted roles at the Community Health Center of Snohomish County since August 2012, including Health Informatics Trainer, EHR Quality Support Specialist, and Patient Portal Support Specialist. Responsibilities as a Patient Portal Support Specialist involve managing the online patient portal, processing appointment requests, and assisting patients with account setup while verifying insurance. Previously, Carlos worked as a Patient Access Specialist, handling appointment scheduling and compliance with HIPAA regulations in a call center environment, and also held the position of Medical Records Assistant III at Group Health, where responsibilities included maintaining medical record privacy and assisting with patient documentation. Carlos completed high school at Monroe High School and is currently pursuing further education at Everett Community College.
