Taryn VanGerpen has extensive work experience in the dental field. Taryn worked as a Dental Assistant at the University of Washington School of Dentistry from November 2011 to August 2012. Later, they joined the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic/NDR as a Dental Resident from July 2016 to June 2017. Taryn then transitioned to the Community Health Center of Snohomish County, where they held the positions of General Dentist starting from July 2017 and then Dental Clinical Director from September 2019.
Taryn VanGerpen obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with minors in Business Administration and Chemistry from the University of San Diego from 2007-2011. Following this, they pursued Dentistry and received a DDS degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry from 2012-2016.

Community Health Center of Snohomish County (CHC) is a non-profit health center, which has grown to become the only local health care provider delivering comprehensive primary medical, dental and pharmacy services for low-income individuals and families through multiple locations in Snohomish County.
