Karen Veith is a highly experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving at the Community Health Center since August 2005, Karen provides preventative health care and screening for adolescents at Middletown High School and precepts Nurse Practitioner students from Yale School of Nursing. Karen has contributed to various health initiatives as a Co-Principal Investigator for the AAP CATCH Planning Grant and as a Co-Project Leader for the Healthy Connections Partnership Grant. Additionally, Karen has participated in the HIV/STD/Pregnancy Prevention Stakeholders Steering Team and published work in the Creative Nursing Journal. Previous roles include providing acute care at Camp Emerson and serving as a Primary Care Provider at Torrington Winsted Pediatrics. Karen holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Hartford and completed an education program at the University of South Florida.
