Shalamiesha Gilbert

Shalamiesha Gilbert, LMSW, CDP, is a Behavioral Health Clinician at Community Health Center since September 2023 and a Research Assistant at UConn School of Social Work since August 2023, where responsibilities include interviewing participants using mixed qualitative and quantitative methods. Previously, Shalamiesha held a role as a Social Worker for the Town of West Hartford, focusing on case management for adults and seniors from September 2022 to June 2023, and completed a Social Work Internship at Hartford Public Schools from September 2021 to May 2022. Shalamiesha's work background also includes longstanding experience at Trader Joe's as a Crew Member since April 2014, and earlier positions as a Senior Teller at Chase and sales specialist at Macy's. Shalamiesha earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Eastern Connecticut State University.
