John A. DeMalia

President & CEO at Community Health Connections

John A. DeMalia has been the President & CEO of Community Health Connections since October 2010. John is responsible for the startup and daily operations of the Gardner Health Center, ensuring that operational objectives are met, and accountable for its fiscal, operational and quality assurance performance. John oversees the implementation of the strategic plan as approved by the President and Board, and ensures compliance with all federal, state and local agencies.

Prior to joining Community Health Connections, John was the Executive Director of United Way of Central Massachusetts from January 1997 to December 2000, where they were responsible for the organization's financial management and human resources.

John has a long history of leadership and success in the non-profit sector. John has been recognized for their work in securing federal funding, negotiating contracts with third party insurance companies, designing and building state of the art facilities, and raising capital. John is dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare for all members of their community.

John A. DeMalia has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Boston College and they attended St. John's High School.
