Kara Tao

Kara Tao is an undergraduate research student at Yale University School of Medicine, currently contributing to the Hafler Lab since May 2023. In addition, Kara serves as a community health educator with Community Health Educators since September 2022. Previously, Kara held the role of student director and actor at Sherry Lansing Productions, Inc. from 2018 to 2022 and volunteered as an intern for the Hyde Park Refugee Project from July 2019 to June 2021. In 2021, Kara completed a public practice internship at the Smart Museum of Art, The University of Chicago. Kara is currently pursuing a degree at Yale University, with prior education at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools from 2005 to 2022.
