Rachel Rivera

Rachel Rivera is a dedicated student researcher currently affiliated with the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where work involves developing a 10-year risk prediction model for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. In addition to research roles at Yale University in the LusKing and Bender Labs, Rachel contributes to the HAVEN Free Clinic as a Patient Navigator supporting Spanish-speaking patients, volunteers with the Hypertension Awareness and Prevention Program, and serves as an Educator with Community Health Educators. Additional involvement includes serving as an Admissions Fellow for HelloAO, an Advising Fellow for Matriculate, and Secretary for the Yale University Research Association. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, anticipated in 2025.
