Alan Conrad MD, MMM, CPE, FACHE, FAAPL has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Alan currently serves as the Medical Director at Community Health Group and has held this position since August 2021. Prior to this, they were the President, Medical Staff at Palomar Health Rehabilitation Institute LLC from February 2021 to October 2021.

From 2018 to 2021, Alan worked as a Hospitalist at Vituity. Alan played a vital role in providing medical care to patients during their time there.

Before joining Vituity, Alan worked at Palomar Health from 2009 to 2018. Alan held the position of Executive Vice President, Physician Alignment and was a member of the Executive Management Team. Alan acted as a liaison between the administration and the Medical Staff. During their tenure, they were responsible for various areas including the Medical Staff Office, Quality, Patient Safety, Infection Control, Patient Experience, and Risk Management. Additionally, they served as the Medical Director at Palomar Health from November 2009 to January 2018.

Alan's career began in 1987 when they joined North County Internists. Alan held multiple roles at the company, including Physician, Managing Partner, and CFO, until December 2016. Throughout their tenure, they provided medical care and played a key role in managing the business aspects of the organization.

Alan Conrad MD, MMM, CPE, FACHE, FAAPL has an education history that spanned several years and involved various degree programs. In 1972, they began their undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont, majoring in Zoology. Alan completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology in 1976. Subsequently, from 1977 to 1981, they attended New York Medical College, where they earned their medical degree (MD) in Medicine. After obtaining their MD, they continued their education at the USC Marshall School of Business in 2008, enrolling in the Medical Management program. The program lasted until 2009, and they obtained a Master of Medical Management (MMM) degree. With the completion of their degrees in Zoology, Medicine, and Medical Management, Alan Conrad went on to pursue a variety of professional roles and certifications, including CPE, FACHE, and FAAPL.
