Community Health Nurse at Community Health Network

Christina Leonard has a wide range of experience in nursing and healthcare. Christina started their career in 1986 as a Staff Nurse at New England Medical Center, where they worked on the Surgical/Vascular Unit and took on the role of Night Charge. In 1987, they joined South Shore Visiting Nurse Association as an Assistant Director Clinical, overseeing various departments and nursing teams. Christina worked there until 1999. In 2003, they became a School Nurse at Newburyport Elementary School, a position they held until 2006. During this time, they also worked as a Community Health Nurse on a part-time basis for Community Health Network, Inc., providing support to full-time staff nurses. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Quality Improvement Nurse at Angels at Home Healthcare. Since 2013, Christina has been working as a Community Health Nurse in a per diem capacity at Community Health Network, Inc., where they assist with managing and admitting client caseloads. Christina has experience with various clinical record documentation systems, including Healthcare 1st, Allscripts, Healthwyse, and CareAnyware.

Christina Leonard pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Salem State University from 1983 to 1986. Following this, they went on to attain a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Northeastern University between 1990 and 1995.
