Amanda Vercellone

Manager, Perinatal Intensive Care Management at COMMUNITY HEALTH NETWORK OF CONNECTICUT INC

Amanda Vercellone has work experience primarily in the healthcare industry. Amanda started their career in 1998 as a Registered Nurse and Certified Childbirth Educator at Saint Mary's Hospital, where they stayed until February 2023. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at Health Net as a Clinical Consultant and later became a Manager of Care Management. In 2012, Amanda joined Community Health Network of CT as an RN Team Lead, working there until April 2019. Amanda then moved on to the Hospital of Central Connecticut, where they worked as a Per Diem RN in the Family Birthplace. Currently, they hold the position of Manager of Perinatal Intensive Care Management at Community Health Network of Connecticut, Inc., starting in April 2019.

Amanda Vercellone completed their education at Quinnipiac University. Amanda first pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in the field of Forensic Nursing from 1999 to 2003.

In addition to their academic degrees, Amanda Vercellone has obtained several certifications. These include being a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) from the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice, which they achieved in October 2018. Amanda is also a Certified Case Manager from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), obtained in April 2016. Amanda Vercellone is further certified as a Certified Childbirth Educator from the Academy of Certified Birth Educators, which they accomplished in September 2001. Additionally, they hold a Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) from The National Certification Corporation. However, the exact month and year of obtaining the C-EFM certification are not specified.
