Elizabeth DiChiara began their work experience as a Staff Nurse in Pediatrics at the Hospital for Special Care in 1998. Elizabeth then progressed to become a Shift Manager, overseeing 10 clinical units and implementing efficient budgeting systems. Elizabeth also served as a Staffing Resource Manager, identifying process improvements and providing education to staff. In 2014, they became a Clinical Care Coordinator, where they oversaw a Long Term Acute Care Satellite Unit and served as a resource and mentor for the staff. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Nurse Evaluator, evaluating patients for admission and managing a referral territory. In their most recent role as an Inpatient Discharge Care Manager at Community Health Network of Connecticut, Inc. since 2021, they are responsible for managing inpatient discharge care.
Elizabeth DiChiara obtained a bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from Saint Joseph College in 1998. After that, they pursued further education and completed a master's degree in Education from the University of Hartford between 2014 and 2016.
