Katia Mata

Katia Mata has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Their most recent position is as a Community Health Worker at Community Health Network of Connecticut, Inc. starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Bartender at September In Bangkok starting in 2018. In 2021, Katia served as a COVID-19 Vaccine Navigator at Cornell Scott - Hill Health Center, where they focused on increasing the vaccination rate among the Hispanic community. In July 2022, Katia Mata obtained three certifications. Katia completed the COVID-19 Contact Tracing course on Coursera. Katia also completed the Connecticut Mandated Reporter Training Community Providers offered by the State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families. Additionally, they obtained the PSE Elder Abuse certification from The Connecticut Department of Social Services in August 2022.
