Kathy Schiessl, Senior Vice President of Child and Family Services is responsible for the direction, oversight and operation for all programs in the Child and Family Division, which includes crisis services, four outpatient clinics, five residential programs, and a number of intensive home-based therapy programs, as well as foster care and other support services.
Kathy joined CHR in 1988 as a clinical therapist working with children and families. She has held a number of management positions prior to becoming Senior Vice President of Child and Family Services, including Utilization Review Manager, Director of Central Access and Crisis Triage, Director of Child and Family Services and Division Director of Child and Family Services. Prior to coming to CHR, Kathy has also provided outpatient mental health services as an intake worker for Windsor Youth and Family Services, and a case worker for Gray Lodge. Kathy received her undergraduate degree from Saint Joseph College and her Master in Social Work from Boston University.
