Matt Garner

Matt Garner is an experienced professional in clinical recruiting and physician practice management, currently serving as the Director of Recruiting and Contracting for Hospital Based Providers at Community Health Systems since August 2024. Previously, Matt held the position of Director of Clinical Recruiting at SCP Health, where responsibilities included leading recruitment efforts for over 75 hospital locations across 20 states and developing strategic recruitment KPIs. With a strong background in provider recruitment management at American Physician Partners and Quorum Health, Matt has successfully recruited for diverse specialties and has been instrumental in negotiating employment agreements and improving recruitment processes. Matt holds a Master of Fine Arts from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts from Samford University.
