Kelley Thurston, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, PMH-BC, currently serves as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Oak Street Health since June 2023 and has been with Community Healthcore since August 2016 in the same role, also holding the position of Care Team Manager. Previous experience includes a Family Nurse Practitioner role at Titus Regional Medical Center from September 2022 to June 2023 and a Behavioral Health RN position at CHRISTUS Good Shepherd from May 2022 to September 2022. Additional experience includes serving as an RN House Supervisor at Behavioral Hospital of Longview from May 2011 to August 2016, overseeing floor staff and patient admissions, and performing CNA duties at Gilmer Care Center from 2005 to 2009 in a secured Alzheimer’s unit. Educational qualifications include an MSN-FNP from The University of Texas at Arlington, with ongoing studies for a Master of Legal Studies in Health Law and Policy at Texas A&M University School of Law, a BSN from Louisiana State University, and an Associate's degree from Kilgore College.

How do we strive to do this? -Serving as the mental health and intellectual disability governing authority for Bowie, Cass, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Panola, Red River, Rusk and Upshur counties. -Helping people and their families heal the consequences of mental illness. -Assisting people with an intellectual disability and their families achieve maximum independence in all aspects of their lives. -Providing programs and services in greater East Texas that help people lead lives free from addictions.
