Amanda Cardenas has over a decade of experience in education, currently serving as an English Teacher for Community High School District 117 since August 2018 and previously at Community High School District 94 from August 2008 to August 2018. Amanda is an Independent Consultant for Mud and Ink Teaching, focusing on revitalizing curricula for ELA classrooms globally since September 2015. Previous roles include teaching various courses for the Golden Apple Foundation, where responsibilities involved supervising pre-service teachers. Amanda holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum Construction & ESL from Concordia University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Illinois Wesleyan University.
