Susan Zumwalde is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in nursing management and care coordination. Currently serving as the Manager of Triage, Crisis Intervention Care, and Comfort Care at Community Hospice of Northeast Florida since March 2011, Susan oversees three departments and manages a team of 90 staff members, handling responsibilities such as staffing, customer service, budgeting, reporting, and training. Previously, Susan held the position of Nurse Manager at St. Vincent Medical Center from April 2008 to January 2011, where contributions included working towards Joint Commission Certification for Heart Failure within the telemetry and PCU units. Additionally, Susan served as Nurse Manager at Alachua General Hospital from March 2001 to August 2008. Susan holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Registered Nursing from Santa Fe Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science from AdventHealth University.
