MWN COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, LLC is a general acute care hospital located in Long Beach, CA. Reopened in January 2021, the former CHLB site was leased in 2018 by MWN Community Hospital, LLC from its former operator and underwent extensive renovations to bring state-of-the art medical services and equipment and leading physicians and staff to the site.

MWN Community Hospital, LLC serves over 300,000 residents throughout the East Side of Long Beach and surrounding communities by offering the best possible care environment for those seeking inpatient and outpatient procedures. Community Hospital provides the highest quality of care services in a warm, personal environment by pairing intimate surroundings with dedicated staff.  The vital services CHLB provides includes:

158 beds of acute care, including 20 intensive care unit beds (11 ICU beds and 40 medical-surgical beds open as of Jan. 2021)

Specialty care, including general surgery, primary care, and a behavioral health unit

A suite of robust and on-site outpatient services including laboratory, diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, and rehabilitation

An emergency department, opening in Q2 2021, that will serve residents and both Los Angeles and Orange County Fire and Paramedics 

Through community, government and education partnerships, Community Hospital advocates for public health care and works to support better healthcare access and outcomes for individuals and families across the greater Long Beach community.

The Nursing and Patient Care team at Community Hospital Long Beach is dedicated to delivering comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services to patients. This team, consisting of RN Critical Care, Case Managers, Registered Nurses, Intensive Care Nurses, and ED/ICU Registered Nurses, plays a vital role in patient diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. They work collaboratively to provide high-quality care in various settings, including the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, and general patient care areas, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention in a state-of-the-art, supportive environment.
