Joe Romero is a seasoned Nurse Anesthesiologist (CRNA) with extensive experience in the healthcare field. Currently serving at Community Hospital of Anaconda since March 2017, Joe also holds the position of CEO at Headwaters Anesthesia Consulting LLC, which specializes in anesthesia education, locum tenens services, and healthcare business consulting. Joe's military background includes service as a Captain and CRNA in the United States Army Reserve from October 2011 to December 2019, with a combat deployment to Iraq. In addition to previous roles in various anesthesia practices, Joe is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesiology from Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and ongoing doctoral studies in Nurse Anesthesia Practice at Missouri State University, along with a Fellowship in Advanced Pain Management at the University of South Florida.
