Since 1999 over 14,000 landlords and managers have completed CIC property management training to help them better market, manage and maintain affordable rental property. CIC also provides below-market financing for multifamily energy improvements in the Energy Savers program. Since 1984 CIC has loaned over $1.2 billion for acquisition and rehab of over 2,200 buildings with 58,000 units. In 2012 CIC received the MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions.
