Liz Castaneda

Liz Castaneda is a seasoned professional in urban planning and real estate management, currently serving as the TBI Acquisition & Condo Project Manager at Community Investment Corporation since July 2022, where responsibilities include multifamily lien foreclosure management and the receivership of distressed condominium buildings. Previous roles include Director of Land Bank Operations and Outreach Manager at Southland Development Authority, where oversight of acquisitions and community engagement programs was key. Liz also contributed as Outreach Manager for the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association, focusing on economic growth initiatives and grant compliance, and gained experience as Development Project Manager at Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation. Educational background includes a Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy and a Bachelor’s in Anthropology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
