Community Legal Aid
Jonathan Mannina serves as the Executive Director of Community Legal Aid since 1998, overseeing a non-profit organization that provides free legal services to low-income and elderly residents in Central and Western Massachusetts. Responsibilities include managing programmatic, personnel, administrative, and financial matters for a multi-office, unionized organization with 200 employees. Previously, Jonathan held roles such as Litigation Director, where supervision of systemic litigation and handling of housing and employment discrimination cases occurred, and Staff Attorney, focusing on housing and homelessness issues. Prior to Community Legal Aid, Jonathan practiced as an Associate at Silver Golub & Teitell LLP, representing plaintiffs in personal injury, employment discrimination, and medical malpractice cases, while also handling criminal defense. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University, complemented by studies at Universidad de Costa Rica UCR and the University of Madrid.
