Sydney Young is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Community Engagement Restorative Justice Fellow and Complaint Intake Counselor at the ACLU of Missouri since April 2022. With extensive experience in community engagement, Sydney also holds a position as a Graduate Student Instructor and Community Engagement Fellow at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, focusing on educating the St. Louis community about voting rights and civic engagement. Previous roles include Direct Support Professional at Community Living, Inc., Production Team Member at True Manufacturing, and Addiction Recovery Coach at The Aviary Recovery Center. Sydney's educational background includes a PhD in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, along with ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Political Science and Government.
