Ken Service

Ken Service is the current director at CLASS. Prior to that, they were a field service technician at OPEX Corporation from March 2018 to September 2019. There, they were responsible for the day to day maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mail opening, document scanning and/or material handling equipment. This included installing and setting up new equipment, interacting with customers to determine the problem, completing field service reports, and keeping customers informed of repairs being made. Ken also interacted with management and other personnel to analyze and correct any equipment performance issues.

Service began their career as an emergency medical technician at RWJBarnabas Health in May 1999. there, they provided skillful medical care to revive and stabilize patients suffering from traumatic injuries, cardiac arrest, strokes, seizures, drug overdoses, hypothermia and other serious conditions. Ken also calmed and reassured patients and family members, enabling accurate gathering of crucial information. Service is experienced with the principal of stress response and methods to ensure personal well-being. Ken is also trained in body substance isolation and medical-legal principles.

Ken Service is an electronics technician who studied at DeVry Technical Institute and Mercer County Vocational-Technical School. Ken has a diploma in industrial electronics technology/technician and a certificate in OSHA 10 from ClickSafety. Ken also has a certificate in NJ EMT from the State of New Jersey.
